Our founders were Quakers and we have strived to maintain their high standards in our business dealings today.

We believe we have a duty to take an active role in contributing positively to our country, our customers, our environment, our staff and also to those who provide the raw materials for our products.

  • We are proud supporters of the Love Irish Food movement and we firmly believe that by keeping jobs in Ireland and by supporting Irish Suppliers we are ensuring a better future for all of us. Where possible we will choose to work with local suppliers – for a list please see the Love Irish Food section above.

  • We continue to support the Fairtrade Movement, with both our Luxury Kenyan Tea and Decaf Tea being certified by Fairtrade. See www.Fairtrade.ie for more details on how your purchases can benefit growers & workers in developing countries.

  • The charitable ethic of our founders remains strong, both corporately & in our staff activity, with a strong focus on local Irish Charities. Each March, we sponsor approximately 450 coffee mornings for the Irish Cancer Society. We donate a proportion of sales from our Colombian Tres Rios coffee sales each year to Aware. We also sponsor a number of local charities, including Teenline. Our staff are also involved in payroll donation scheme benefiting good causes like Temple Street and the School for the Blind.

  • We stand behind our products. Our factory is certified by Global Food Safety/BRC standard to ensure high quality products for our consumers. We are committed to taking feedback seriously and will respond within 3 days to any customer issues.

  • As a founder member of Repak we work to minimise our impact on the environment through recycling, waste management and environmental controls.
